On
behalf of the Executive, I wish to extend an invitation to you to attend the 27th Annual Reunion of the Royal Canadian
Corps of Signals Association (Atlantic Division) on the 24th and 25th September 2010. Again this year
we will be holding the Reunion here on Cape Breton Island. Yes, and we now have WestJet flying direct from Toronto to Sydney,
until late October.
As
an update and for those of you who will be attending for the first time here is how our weekend will unfold:

block of 40 rooms has been booked at the Days Inn on the ground floor level, for the two nights, September 24th
and 25th check-out Sunday morning the 26th. The rate will
be $99.00 per night plus tax. For reservations call toll free, 1-877-834-0333
or local calls (902) 539-6750. When making your reservation please be sure to inform the hotel staff that you are with the
RCCS Reunion. Reservations at the hotel must be booked prior to the 24th
of August. Take the Exit to the Days Inn on Kings Road off the highway.
Please
no late registration for the Banquet. All registrations must be submitted to
me no later than September 15th, 2010. Should you submit your registration
fee and at the last minute something comes up and you cannot attend please notify me and your money will be refunded.
During
our dinner a draw will be made for the Bronze Statue of the Signals Jimmy. Tickets
for this draw will be issued to Members only and will be handed out at time of Registration at the Meet & Greet on Friday
evening. Congratulations to Terry Strickland, New Minus, Nova Scotia who
won the Jimmy last year.
Sunday
morning, September 26th, before checking out of the hotel, we all should try to gather in the main dining room
for breakfast and our fond farewell for another year. We look forward to seeing
all the familiar faces again this year and hopefully some unfamiliar ones.
